Payroll

Payroll that starts from the shifts people actually worked.

Inside Payroll runs Singapore payroll from confirmed timesheets. Pay groups set the cycle, regular pay runs are drafted automatically, and each pay line combines basic pay, overtime, allowances, claims and adjustments, with CPF, SDL and SHG calculated in the run. Reviewers can trace any line back to the shift, then approve, submit and generate payslips and bank files.

Payroll shouldn't start with re-keying hours.

For shift-based teams, payroll means exporting attendance, fixing it in a spreadsheet, adding overtime, allowances and claims by hand, then loading it into a payroll system that has never seen the roster. When someone asks why their overtime is different, nobody can point to the shift.

From shift to payslip.

  1. Confirmed time arrives. Processed timesheets flow into the pay run for the right pay group.
  2. Rules apply. Employment type and pay type (salaried or hourly) decide basic pay and overtime. Allowance rules and approved claims are added.
  3. Review. Payroll reviews totals and each employee's pay breakdown, with timesheet adjustments and line items visible.
  4. Approve and submit. The pay run is approved and submitted. Finalising generates payslips and bank (GIRO) files.

Employment type, contracted hours, work pattern, day type, confirmed timesheet, overtime source, allowances and claims combine into an explainable pay result, which flows into the pay run, payslips, payroll register and bank or export files.
