Singapore Tourism Accelerator pilot
From hours of scheduling work to a 15-minute workflow.
Inside worked with Conrad Singapore Marina Bay through the Singapore Tourism Accelerator to demonstrate how a more intelligent scheduling workflow could reduce repetitive roster administration while keeping managers in control.

The challenge
Hospitality rosters bring together departments, roles, shift patterns, availability and operating requirements. When this work is assembled manually, managers spend valuable time checking constraints and moving people across the schedule.
The approach
The pilot applied Inside Smart Scheduling to organise the scheduling workflow around operational inputs and manager review. The aim was not to remove the manager from the decision—it was to reduce repetitive schedule-building work and produce a draft that could be reviewed quickly.
Pilot result
More than 90% scheduling time saved.
The original pilot material described the scheduling process as taking approximately two to three hours. With Inside, the demonstrated workflow took 15 minutes.
Measured on the scheduling workflow in this pilot. Every operation differs in size, complexity and rules, so results vary with implementation.
Why it matters for hospitality
Scheduling time is not only an administrative cost. Faster roster preparation gives managers more time to review coverage, respond to changes and focus on the guest operation.
