Requests & Approvals

Every workforce request in one queue.

Staff submit leave, off-in-lieu, rest day swaps, time corrections, profile changes and claims in the Inside app. Managers see them in Pending Approvals with the context they need, such as the leave balance after approval, and approving updates the roster, balances and timesheets automatically.

Requests get lost between chats, forms and inboxes.

A leave request in WhatsApp, a swap agreed verbally, a claim in someone's drawer. When approvals don't touch the roster, people get scheduled on days they're away.

How it works

  1. Staff submit a request in the app.
  2. It appears in the manager's Pending Approvals on the dashboard and in the app.
  3. The manager approves or declines, with balances and roster impact visible.
  4. Approval updates balances, blocks the roster for approved leave and notifies the employee.
